Polly Bringhurst: Librarian by Day, Storyteller by Night
As an elementary librarian, Polly Bringhurst spends her days in the best way—surrounded by books while encouraging children to read. When her students asked for a story, she wrote her debut novel Finnegan Flynt and the Value of Pi. This novel was a finalist in the 19th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards, and also won the Gold Quill from the League of Utah Writers.
Polly lives in beautiful Southern Utah with her husband. She loves spending time with her grandchildren and enjoys traveling to tropical places where she can snorkel with sea creatures. She also loves to read on her patio and watch hummingbirds fight over the feeder while lizards do pushups on the fence and her large black cat fails to catch both.
Polly believes in monsters and frequently checks under her bed. Maybe you should check under yours.
